Besides, the Bible notes that love of money is the root of many evils, so the placement of "In God We Trust" on money doesn't make sense from a Christian standpoint, at least. adjl posted... It might be worth considering removing it if the bills are being redesigned for another reason (like Canada did with the plastic bills a while back), but I don't think it'd be reasonable to start a redesign just for that purpose.
